Paul Mullin Transfer from Wrexham to Bolton Wanderers
FLW has revealed that Bolton Wanderers manager Steven Schumacher is planning a move for Wrexham striker Paul Mullin, who is also a Liverpudlian. The 31-year-old has returned to Wrexham this month after his recall option was triggered from a half-season loan at Wigan. Mullin is now looking for his next move as he is not considered a primary choice under Phil Parkinson in North Wales, where other forwards such as Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez have been preferred. Schumacher is looking to add an experienced striker to his attacking unit, with a potential move being considered due to Bolton's current forwards failing to perform as expected. During his recent loan, managed by Schumacher's friend Ryan Lowe, Mullin scored five goals in all competitions for Wigan but made just seven league starts out of 20 appearances.
