Getafe are reportedly closing in on the signing of former Leeds and Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford. The 32-year-old English forward is a free agent after being released by the Premier League side a few days before the transfer deadline, having fallen out of favour with coach Daniel Farke. Bamford is said to be travelling to Spain to discuss a potential transfer, having also attracted interest from several English clubs including Wrexham and Sunderland. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €2 million.
