Blackburn is reportedly keen on bringing Dapo Afolayan back to English football from the German team St Pauli. The 27-year-old English-Nigerian forward might be available for a fee of around £2 million. Afolayan is versatile, able to play either as a winger or a central forward. Having previously spent two years with Bolton Wanderers, he has demonstrated his adaptability on the field. Although his contract with the Hamburg-based club is valid until June 2026, Transfermarkt has valued him at approximately £3.4 million. Blackburn considers his dual capability to operate both on the wings and centrally as a perfect match for their current squad requirements.
