Leeds United are reportedly increasing their efforts to sign Club Brugge's Nicolo Tresoldi after his recent Champions League performances impressed them. A Football Insider report states that Leeds United have identified the player as a priority attacking target for 2027 and that a January transfer could be difficult to negotiate. Pete O’Rourke claims that Leeds are certainly going to be among the clubs looking at Tresoldi. Leeds scouts have been particularly impressed by his recent form, and Daniel Farke is keen to add another striker to his squad. Leeds must decide whether to attempt to sign him in January or wait until the end of the season, and their recruitment team will continue to monitor his progress. Tresoldi’s growing reputation has increased his valuation. Reports suggest that a fee exceeding £50 million could be required to sign him. Club Brugge are not considering any offers for Tresoldi and will not do so in the January window, as they want to retain him.

A source at Club Brugge has informed TEAMtalk that there is no desire for Nicolo Tresoldi to leave in January. Club Brugge will require a fee greater than the €40 million Arsenal paid for Christos Tzolis, which is the Belgian transfer record. It is understood that Tresoldi is comfortable with the prospect of remaining at Brugge, and there is no immediate pressure on the club to approve a departure.

Team Talk reports that Leeds United will face competition from Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and AC Milan for Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi. The report adds that Brugge rejected a £30m bid from Roma for Tresoldi in August and have set his asking price at £42m.

According to Team Talk, Leeds United are interested in signing Club Brugge's Nicolo Tresoldi and plan to send scouts to watch him play when Club Brugge face Lens in the Champions League on Wednesday.
