Nicolas Raskin Transfer from Rangers to FC Copenhagen
Nicolas Raskin, a 24-year-old central midfielder, was reportedly engaged in negotiations with FC Copenhagen regarding a potential transfer. Nonetheless, it now seems that any move has encountered obstacles. Rangers were amenable to a loan agreement that included an obligation to purchase after 12 months. The Danish club had made efforts to convince Raskin to join them. Despite these negotiations, it has been reported that Raskin will stay at Rangers past the summer transfer window, as he reportedly never intended to leave Ibrox and remains loyal to the club. There were discussions about a possible fallout with manager Russell Martin after Raskin was omitted from the squad for the match against Celtic. However, he is expected to have discussions to resolve any issues with Martin once he returns from international duty with Belgium, and he is likely to rejoin the squad for the upcoming game against Hearts. The Belgian international's contract with Ibrox is valid until May 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €10.00m. Besides interest from the Danish side, several Premier League clubs, including Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace, have also been associated with a potential move for the player.
