It is reported that FC Copenhagen and Burnley are not close to reaching an agreement for the transfer of Danish winger Jacob Bruun Larsen. Larsen is 27 years old and has three years remaining on his contract. Danish media had previously reported on the interest. The Danish club is aware that an offer of around €4m, which is his valuation on Transfermarkt, would be needed to persuade the Championship side. Currently, the two clubs are said to be far from a deal. It is unclear if FC Copenhagen, should it decide to proceed, is seeking a loan or a permanent transfer for the attacker. Meanwhile, Burnley's new manager, Nicky Hayen, has been giving the player regular opportunities in pre-season. Jacob Bruun Larsen joined Burnley in July 2025 and has earned 8 caps for Denmark, scoring one goal.
