According to The Shields Gazette, Ipswich Town have been in talks to sign Newcastle United's goalkeeper Nick Pope. Newcastle are prepared to let him leave as they expect to sign another goalkeeper and are keen to receive a fee before his contract expires next summer. The player is said to be valued at £5m, and Leeds are also understood to be interested in signing him.
