Valencia has expressed interest in acquiring French striker Neal Maupay, who currently holds the position of third choice striker at Olympique de Marseille and was not present in their recent 0-1 loss to Olympique Lyonnais. The player is reportedly seeking a permanent transfer instead of a loan move. Marseille is reportedly willing to agree to a paid loan deal worth around 300,000 euros, with or without an option to buy, but Maupay is said to be uninterested in this arrangement. In addition to Valencia, Sevilla, Sassuolo, and particularly Getafe have also shown interest in the 29-year-old striker. Marseille is actively looking for a way to facilitate Maupay's departure as part of their efforts to restructure the squad. Maupay's contract is valid until June 30, 2028, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €8 million.
