Blackburn Rovers have confirmed they have activated the option in Moussa Baradji’s loan agreement from Yverdon-Sport to make the move permanent. The midfielder has signed what was described as a long-term contract at Ewood Park, although the exact length has not been specified.

According to Alan Nixon, Blackburn have made Moussa Baradji's loan from Swiss side Yverdon permanent for a fee of £2 million, including add-ons. Michael O'Neill is said to have sanctioned the deal.

The management at Blackburn has started negotiations with Yverdon Sport to extend the midfielder's stay in England. Discussions are reportedly focused on a two-year contract and a clause worth £1.5 million, including bonuses. Baradji, who has scored two goals in 12 appearances across all competitions during the first half of the season, has a contract with Yverdon that expires on the upcoming June 30. He had joined the Swiss club from Legnago in the summer of 2024 for a fee of €250,000.
