Alex Neil's Millwall side is considering a move for Max Dean, a 22-year-old English striker at Gent, who is also attracting interest from several other Championship clubs. The potential transfer is being explored even though Millwall have already signed striker Tairyk Arconte, and it is understood that other strikers are also being considered by Neil. Dean joined the Belgian club from MK Dons in July 2024 for a £2m fee, and his pre-season has been affected by a knee injury. His contract at Gent runs until June 2028. He has four caps and four goals for England at U20 level. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €2.50m.
