Gent head coach Rik De Mil has confirmed that Max Dean wants to move back to England. The forward was left out of their win over KV Mechelen on Sunday. De Mil told DAZN that he did not include Dean in the squad as the player is looking to leave for a club in England. The coach stated that Dean knows England much better and wants to make a transfer, adding they will see if that is completed. De Mil said he is allowing the player space for this but noted that on the other hand, they have to work with the players who are fully focused on Gent. Dean has been linked with Millwall in the summer window.
