Galatasaray would like to sign Mattias Svanberg at a late stage. Svanberg has recently received less playing time at VfL Wolfsburg.

As part of their mid-season transfer activities, which are guided by a list from coach Okan Buruk, Galatasaray has started the process to sign Wolfsburg's Mattias Svanberg. The 27-year-old Swedish player has reached an agreement with Galatasaray. Negotiations with the German club are continuing quickly. Svanberg is a central midfielder who joined Wolfsburg in July 2022 and has a contract until June 2027. He has 36 caps and two goals for Sweden, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €12.00m. In the current Bundesliga season, Svanberg has made 17 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
