Wrexham are considering a move for Cruzeiro's 29-year-old Brazilian attacking talent Matheus Pereira. The attacking midfielder, who has one cap for Brazil, is under contract until June 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €14.00m. Several other clubs, including Palmeiras, Panathinaikos, and PAOK, have also been linked with the player. In late 2024, Palmeiras reportedly made an offer of approximately €12.5 million plus bonuses, while Cruzeiro's asking price was said to be €25 million.
