Manchester City is looking for potential replacements for Rodri and considers FC Barcelona's Marc Bernal an option of particular interest. The 19-year-old Spanish defensive midfielder is also reportedly of interest to other English clubs, such as Chelsea and Arsenal. Bernal's contract runs until 2029 and includes a €500 million release clause, with a reported €30 million offer from Galatasaray being rejected in February 2026.
