Jean-Luc Dompé, who also holds Ivorian citizenship, has no future at Hamburger SV and is permitted to leave the club this summer. Newly promoted La Liga side Deportivo La Coruña is interested in the 30-year-old as the team searches for a new winger. The Spanish club's preferred target was Adama Traoré, but they were unable to reach an agreement for his services. As a result, the Frenchman is now on a list of alternatives for Deportivo that also includes Sofiane Boufal and Cyriaque Irié from SC Freiburg. Sofiane Boufal is a free agent after his contract at Le Havre expired. Dompé joined Hamburg in August 2022 and has a contract until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, the former France U20 international has a current market value of €2.50m.
