Napoli is considering 18-year-old Australian centre-back Lucas Harrington of Colorado as one of several transfer alternatives. The player is on a list that also includes Federico Gatti of Juventus, Lee Han-beom of Midtjylland, and Bastien Meypiyou of Alverca, with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis expected to make the final decision. Harrington has four caps for Australia and in the 2025/2026 season made 15 appearances and scored one goal in Major League Soccer. FC Barcelona, West Ham United, and Everton have also been associated with an interest in the player. According to reports from June 2026, Colorado Rapids rejected a €10 million offer from FC Barcelona. It was also reported that the club had signed him from Brisbane Roar in January 2026 for a fee of €450,000.
