Aberdeen have identified 30-year-old Scottish Preston North End defender Liam Lindsay for a role in their rebuild, but the centre-back is not keen on a return to Scotland. While Lindsay, who has one year remaining on his contract, is understood to be open to a move away from Preston, it is considered more likely that he will either remain in England or take an opportunity to play abroad. Celtic have also been linked with the player. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated to be €1.50m.
