Sacha Tavolieri reports that Sevilla FC and Aston Villa FC have begun discussions regarding a loan move for Leon Bailey. A potential arrangement would involve Leon Bailey extending his contract for an additional season before being loaned out.

Leon Bailey is expected to leave Aston Villa before the end of the window. Negotiations are ongoing after Sevilla asked for the conditions to acquire the 29-year-old Jamaican winger. Bailey, who joined Villa in August 2021, has a contract until June 2027 and has earned 41 caps for Jamaica, scoring 7 goals. His current Transfermarkt market value is €14.00m. In addition to Sevilla, Hull City, Al Draih, and Ajax have also been linked with the player. The most recent reports from August 2026 suggest Aston Villa would be satisfied with a transfer fee of €9 million to €10 million.
