Leo Castledine Transfer from Chelsea U21 to Bristol City
Bristol City are one of several clubs linked with Chelsea attacking midfielder Leo Castledine, who has been a standout performer while on loan at Huddersfield Town. Watford has also been linked with the player. Football League World revealed that at least six second-tier clubs are monitoring his situation, and Huddersfield are also understood to be interested in a permanent deal. According to a report from The Sun, Castledine could be available for as little as £1 million this winter. His current contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season, although the club holds an option to extend it by 12 months. The Athletic also revealed that a break clause exists in his loan agreement which is set to expire a couple of weeks into the transfer window.
