According to former Aston Villa scout Bryan King, Bogarde's chances are limited at his current club and he may need to move for more consistent first-team football. King identified Coventry as a potential destination, noting their need to strengthen their squad. He also stated that Bogarde's Premier League experience is what Coventry will be looking for and suggested that a £15 million fee would represent a good sale for Aston Villa. Bogarde joined Aston Villa in July 2024 and has four caps for the Netherlands U21 team. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €15.00m, and Brighton & Hove Albion have also been linked with the player.
