It is reported that Kofi Balmer has agreed a pre-contract with Bristol Rovers to stay at the Memorial Stadium following a successful loan spell. The Daily Record's Scott Burns has stated that Balmer will be the first player to depart Motherwell this summer, signing a two-year contract with Steve Evans' side.

Bristol Rovers have signed centre-back Kofi Balmer on loan from Scottish Premiership side Motherwell until the end of the season. Steve Evans said there was a lot of interest in signing Kofi Balmer across England and Scotland, and he thanked Ricky Martin and the recruitment team for their efforts in assisting him in securing the signing.

Kofi Balmer will undergo a medical at Bristol Rovers on Sunday ahead of a loan move until the end of the season. Scott Burns of The Daily Record reported that Rovers had agreed terms with Motherwell to sign Balmer. Several clubs in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and England were interested in Balmer, but his preference was always to move to a club in England.
