Ki-Jana Hoever Transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Sheffield United

Ki-Jana Hoever has completed a loan move to Sheffield United from Wolverhampton Wanderers that will last until the end of the season. Sheffield United had previously attempted to sign Hoever during the summer of 2024, but the move did not happen due to fitness concerns at the time.

According to sources for Football Insider, Ki-Jana Hoever is undergoing a medical at Sheffield United today for a loan move. The full-back's contract is due to expire in the summer. He will depart on an initial loan, and his future will be assessed at the season's end. Chris Wilder's side are ahead of rivals to sign him, and the deal will be completed if he passes medical checks.

Wolves' 23-year-old right-back Ki-Jana Hoever is set for a loan move to Sheffield United this January. The potential transfer aligns with information from Danny Hall, who revealed the Blades were looking to loan Premier League players. Sheffield United had previously attempted to sign the Dutch defender in the summer of 2024, but that deal reportedly collapsed due to injury concerns, which resulted in the club signing Alfie Gilchrist instead. A knee injury has caused Hoever to miss eight matches for Wolves this season. The former Netherlands U21 international joined Wolves in September 2020, is under contract until June 2026, and has made 8 Premier League appearances this season. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €5.00m.
