Preston North End may submit an offer for OGC Nice's 25-year-old Spanish forward, Kevin Carlos. The French club intends to sell players this summer to decrease their wage bill and raise funds. Carlos, a centre-forward who signed from FC Basel for €6m last summer, has not scored and has provided one assist in 23 league appearances. He has already received bids from Samsunspor but has so far rejected the Turkish side's offers. Preston may also submit a bid. His contract at Nice runs until 2030, and his market value is €4.00m, according to Transfermarkt. The move to France followed a transfer from Yverdon Sport to Basel for €3.4 million in August 2024 and from Huesca to Yverdon for €250,000 in January 2024.
