Karim Benzema Transfer from Al Ittihad to Fenerbahçe

Fenerbahce has identified Karim Benzema as their main target for the January transfer window. According to Goal, the Istanbul club is reportedly ready to make an offer for Benzema, who is under contract with Al-Ittihad until 2026. The Turkish newspaper Fotomac reports the club's management is preparing a 'bold move' to solve their attacking problems. Club president Sadettin Saran met with coach Domenico Tedesco, who insisted on bringing in a proven striker. Despite earning an annual salary of 50 million euros, sources state that Benzema wants to finish his career in Europe. If Benzema's team responds positively to the offer, negotiations could be concluded quickly.

According to 'Fotomac', Fenerbahce is considering signing Karim Benzema and has expressed its interest through the 37-year-old striker's agents. The report states that coach Domenico Tedesco emphasized to President Sadettin Saran that a strong finisher is needed after the mixed start to the season. 'Fotomac' reports that if Fener receives a positive response from the player, they would push forward with the transfer process. However, the Istanbul club must overcome two major hurdles: Benzema's reported annual salary of 50 million euros and the fact that José Mourinho is enticing him with a move to Benfica Lisbon.

According to Fotomaç, Fenerbahçe is considering a recruitment in attack during the winter transfer window. President Sadettin Saran had a meeting with coach Domenico Tedesco to assess the team's situation, during which Tedesco reportedly reiterated the need to sign a more decisive striker. This has led the management to evaluate several options, placing Karim Benzema at the top of the list. Benzema's agents will be contacted to gauge the situation, and if the response is positive, the transfer process will be launched. The club would be ready to do anything to sign Benzema, who currently earns 50 million euros per year in Saudi Arabia and reportedly wants to return to Europe before ending his career. Fotomaç reports that Fenerbahçe is ready to part ways with Jhon Durán as part of the operation.

According to Turkish media HaberTurk, Fenerbahçe is considering taking advantage of the situation and trying to enlist Karim Benzema for the next season. The leaders of the Super Lig runner-up have established the first contact with Karim Benzema on the island of Samos, in Greece. Fenerbahçe's president, Ali Koç, even had a personal interview with Benzema last week. Fenerbahçe would like to bring him in to replace Edin Dzeko, who is not expected to stay in Istanbul.

Fenerbahçe's president Ali Koç has reportedly met with Karim Benzema in Samas, Greece. It is reported that this is the first contact between Fenerbahçe and the star striker.
