Juan Bernat Transfer from Paris Saint Germain to Real Betis
Juan Bernat (31 years old) was sent on loan to Benfica with an aim to revive his career and get more play time. However, he got injured quickly and has barely played this season (4 appearances, 2 starts). His last match was on 31 October. His loan has not been a success either for him or Benfica, who had to pay half of his salary (about 2.75 M€). Benfica doesn't plan on having him next year. He will return to Paris this summer, who will still want to part with the player under contract until 2025. Mundo Deportivo revealed that Betis, who is looking for a left back, is considering him. It's an option considered by the Andalusians. Parisians hope that their interest will be confirmed.
Juan Bernat, currently on loan from PSG to Benfica, is on the list for Betis for the next season. The interest of Betis in the Spanish full-back is due to the need to find substitutes for Abner Vinícius and Juan Miranda. According to Estadio Deportivo, Betis is waiting for the medical evolution of Bernat to evaluate a possible loan with an option to buy, provided he extends his contract with PSG for a year (until 2026).
Juan Bernat, currently on loan at Benfica from PSG, is one of the options that Real Betis is considering to strengthen the left-back for the next season. Bernat, 31 years old, has been declining in recent years due to high competition and lack of opportunities at PSG.
