Jørgen Strand Larsen Transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Chelsea

Chelsea made a late attempt to acquire Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen before the transfer window closed, as reported by journalist Simon Phillips. The club was in search of an additional striker to bolster their attacking lineup and approached Strand Larsen’s agents with hopes of securing the 25-year-old’s move to Stamford Bridge on the final day of the transfer period. Despite their efforts, the transfer did not come to fruition. Wolves, led by manager Vitor Pereira, were not interested in parting with the Norwegian international, particularly after having already transferred top scorer Matheus Cunha to Manchester United earlier in the summer. Additionally, Wolves had turned down multiple offers from Newcastle for Strand Larsen, the most recent being reportedly valued at £55 million, highlighting their unwillingness to sell the forward who has four years left on his contract.
