Dutch international Joey Veerman, 27, has indicated he is ready for a new experience away from the Netherlands and could leave PSV for a fee of approximately 20 million euros. Dutch media have mentioned several possible summer destinations for the midfielder, including Bologna, Atalanta, Villarreal, Monaco, and Benfica. The player has stated a preference for a move to either Spain or Italy, but at present, no formal negotiations are underway between PSV and any Italian clubs. Veerman, who has 16 caps and one goal for the Netherlands, is under contract with PSV until June 2028 and has a current market value, according to Transfermarkt, of €25.00m. In the summer of 2025, Brentford reportedly had multiple bids rejected for the player, one at €27 million and another of nearly €30 million.
