According to Voetbal International, the Championship clubs Leicester City, Southampton, Middlesbrough, Stoke City, and Birmingham City have all made enquiries to sign Joel Piroe this month. The 26-year-old has rejected all of their approaches because he is not in a hurry to leave Elland Road this month.

Leeds United are seeking to transfer 26-year-old Dutch-Surinamese striker Joël Piroe, who has made 10 appearances in the Premier League this season. Southampton is considered a possible destination, and other Championship clubs, including Stoke City, Birmingham City, and Middlesbrough, are also interested in signing the player. Piroe was previously expected to join his former Swansea City manager, Russell Martin, at St Mary's in the summer of 2023, but Southampton signed Ross Stewart instead. It is assumed that a potential move would be a loan, but a permanent deal is also a possibility, with his current value estimated at around £13 million. Piroe's contract with Leeds expires in the summer of 2027. The forward, who has been capped by the Netherlands at U20 level, joined Leeds from Swansea City in August 2023 for a fee that was reported to be €14 million.
