Jaze Kabia has been linked with a move to a higher league following his debut campaign with Grimsby Town. He scored nine goals in his last 10 League Two games, which has attracted attention from Oxford United and Leyton Orient. Championship side Stoke City have also been credited with interest in Kabia, who is under contract with Grimsby until 2027.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, Stoke observed Jaze Kabia of Grimsby Town during the play-off games against Salford City.
