Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign 30-year-old Spanish full-back Javi Galán from Atletico Madrid. He is having a medical in Madrid and due to sign a three-year contract with Forest, including an option for a further year. Galán, whose contract with the Madrid club was due to expire in June 2026, has a current market value of €4.00m according to Transfermarkt. During the transfer window, he was also linked with clubs such as Milan and Osasuna.
