Jari De Busser, 26, is transferring to AZ, following a previous bid from the Dutch club for the Belgian goalkeeper. De Busser, who was also on a list of potential targets for Club Brugge although their interest was not concrete, is said to have already reached a personal agreement with AZ. Mounir Boualin reports that AZ has now reached a verbal agreement with Go Ahead Eagles over the transfer after convincing the club with an improved offer, and the final details are being finalized. The goalkeeper joined Go Ahead Eagles in August 2024, has a contract until June 2027, and made 34 appearances in the Eredivisie in the 2025/2026 season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €4.00m. Recent reports from June 2026 suggested a potential transfer to Celtic would cost approximately €2.4 million, while an April 2026 report mentioned a potential €3 million cost for Club Brugge.
