I. Toney Transfer from Al Ahli to West Ham United

Talksport reports that West Ham United have Ivan Toney on their list. Al-Ahli has no interest in allowing the striker to leave without an equivalent replacement, and his price is over 45 million euros. Ivan Toney's salary is close to 24 million euros per year, which is difficult for even Premier League heavyweights to afford. Toney could use a return to England to position himself for a nomination to the World Cup next summer, though the Englishman feels comfortable in Saudi Arabia.

Former England striker Darren Bent suggested West Ham United should pay half of Ivan Toney’s tax bill to convince him to sign. Toney faces a UK tax bill estimated at £14 million if he returns to England before completing two full years abroad. West Ham United see Toney as a replacement for Niclas Füllkrug, and there is growing interest from Premier League clubs in the player. Toney is unlikely to return to England before next summer due to his financial situation and Al-Ahli’s reluctance to sell. A deal in January is described as being unlikely.

Team Talk reports that West Ham have made inquiries with Toney about a move. With Niclas Fullkrug struggling for form and minutes and determined to leave in January, Nuno Espirito Santo sees the Englishman as a proven goal threat.

According to Football Insider, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Al Ahli's 29-year-old English striker Ivan Toney, and Manchester United are also reportedly considering a move to bring the former Brentford player back to the Premier League in the January transfer window. However, Hammers News reports that despite the interest from these clubs, Toney is happy in Saudi Arabia and is not seeking a return to the Premier League this winter. The striker's contract with Al Ahli runs until June 30, 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €25.00m.
