Africa Foot, via Sport Witness, reported that Issa Kabore has enjoyed his time in Wales and his performance level has led Wrexham’s coaching staff and management to consider a permanent transfer. The report adds that Hugo Viana and Manchester City are open to selling the defender in the summer for a fee between £1 million and £3 million, which could be a record transfer for Wrexham. Africa Foot stated that the price would be a concern for Phil Parkinson’s side. The outlet also claimed that Wrexham are giving serious consideration to buying Kabore and that securing the Burkina Faso right-back is a strategic priority.

Wrexham has begun discussions with Manchester City to permanently sign Issa Kaboré, who is currently on loan at the Welsh club.
