Schalke 04 has placed central defender Ibrahima Cissé on the transfer list because he will not be extending his contract with the German club. In an interview with Africafoot, Cissé confirmed he would not extend his contract and added that although he is in contact with several clubs for a transfer in winter or summer, no agreement is in place, and he remains open to proposals with the best sporting projects. Bristol City, Zulte Waregem, Standard de Liège, Cercle Bruges, Nantes, Reims, and Metz are among the clubs that have contacted the player and his representatives for more information on his situation this winter. Vitoria Guimarães is also targeting the Malian player, which Africafoot exclusively revealed in recent months. Cissé's contract is valid until 30 June 2026, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €350,000.
