Harry Amass Transfer from Manchester United to VfL Wolfsburg
Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic reported that VfL Wolfsburg in Germany were one of more than a dozen clubs that showed interest in 19-year-old English left-back Harry Amass during the transfer window, adding that other interested clubs included Sporting CP in Portugal and Celtic in Scotland. United turned down a loan proposal from Derby County and a bid from Burnley, and decided to keep Amass until at least January when his situation will be reviewed. Amass, who joined United in January 2025, has a contract until June 2027 and has been capped five times for the England U19 team. His current market value is listed as €7.00m by Transfermarkt. Reports in July and August 2026 placed Manchester United's asking price for the player between £6 million and £7 million.
