Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both closely monitoring Barcelona's 19-year-old Spanish defender, Xavi Espart, with several other clubs also following his situation. According to sources within the agent industry, both Arsenal and Tottenham have scouted Espart, who has a contract until June 2030 with a release clause valued at over €100 million. It is believed Barcelona would consider offers between €40 million and €50 million plus bonuses, but there have been no formal negotiations and a January transfer is seen as extremely unlikely.
