Nottingham Forest are closely monitoring the progress of 25-year-old player Geny Catamo. Scouts from five Premier League clubs attended his recent European matches against Galatasaray and RC Lens, and the league match against SC Braga, to assess his potential. According to Transfermarkt, Catamo is valued at €35 million.

Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, Brentford, and Brighton are among several Premier League clubs that have shown interest in Sporting CP winger Geny Catamo. Aston Villa has also continued to monitor his situation. A number of these clubs, which had contact with the 25-year-old's representatives during the summer, have maintained their interest and have increased their scouting of him in recent weeks. Sunderland had previously made the Mozambique international their primary target but were unsuccessful in their attempt to sign him in the summer because Sporting CP insisted his €60 million release clause be paid in full. It is understood that Catamo is receptive to moving to the Premier League, as the winger is attracted by the prospect of competing in England. Catamo joined Sporting CP in July 2023, and his contract is valid until June 2029. The winger has 42 caps and 15 goals for Mozambique. His current market value is €25.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
