It is reported that Stoke City are nearing an agreement for Southampton's Gavin Bazunu, who became their primary target after an injury to Viktor Johansson. It is said that the 23-year-old Republic of Ireland international has travelled to Clayton Wood for discussions about a loan deal until the end of the season. The agreement contains a purchase option of £8m. Bazunu's availability for a move followed Southampton's signing of Daniel Peretz on loan from Bayern Munich.
