The Brazilian has one cap for his country and has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract with the Turkish champions, meaning any potential transfer would require negotiations. His performances in Turkey have reportedly strengthened his appeal, and interested clubs are believed to think he could adapt to English football quickly. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €27M. Reports from September 2026 indicated that offers of €20 million were rejected and that Galatasaray's asking price was €30 million. His transfer from Norwich City in August 2024 was for a reported fee of €18 million.
