Lazio, AS Monaco, and Atalanta are among several clubs that have been monitoring Frosinone's 23-year-old winger Farès Ghedjemis for some time. Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund have also shown an interest in the player. Frosinone are now seeking at least €20 million (£17 million) for Ghedjemis, an amount that is believed to be the starting point for bidding. This price is thought to make it less likely that the interest from the interested clubs will be pursued further. Celtic previously had strong interest in the Algerian in January, but a deal was not completed due to concerns over the cost; their bids of around €6 million were reportedly rejected. Ghedjemis has one cap and one goal for Algeria. He joined Frosinone in January 2024 for a reported €300,000 and his contract runs until 2028. In the 2025/2026 Serie B season, he scored 15 goals and provided 3 assists in 37 appearances. His current market value is €7.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
