Evan Ferguson Transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion to Roma
Evan Ferguson is poised to complete a loan switch to Serie A side Roma. Reliable sources in Italy confirm the move. Roma will pay the forward's full annual salary for a season-long loan. The deal does not include an option to buy next summer.
AS Roma is considering Evan Ferguson as a more affordable loan option as they look to strengthen their attack during the summer transfer window. With Tammy Abraham having moved to Besiktas and Eldor Shomurodov's transfer to Basaksehir expected soon, Roma has identified Georges Mikautadze as a primary target. However, negotiations with Lyon have stalled due to a significant difference in the valuation of Mikautadze, as Roma's initial offer of €18 million does not meet Lyon's €40 million asking price. As a result, Roma is also monitoring Nikola Krstovic from Lecce, while Evan Ferguson from Brighton has emerged as a viable alternative for a loan deal that fits better with their financial constraints.
