Ethan Pinnock Transfer from Brentford to Birmingham City
Birmingham City considered signing Brentford's 32-year-old centre-back, Ethan Pinnock, during the winter window as part of their search for a fourth central defender. The club required reinforcement in that position after Eiran Cashin's loan was terminated early. The 26-time Jamaican international was identified as a target, having made six appearances for Brentford this season under the newly-appointed Keith Andrews. Birmingham were also linked with Jamaal Lascelles of Newcastle United before signing Jonathan Panzo from Rio Ave on a six-month contract. Pinnock joined Brentford in July 2019 and is under contract until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €4.00m. Crystal Palace has also been linked with the defender.
