Espen van Ee is set to join Arouca from Heerenveen. He is a 22-year-old Dutch midfielder who has spent his entire career in the Netherlands. Van Ee is prepared for his first adventure abroad, having been developed at Vitesse and having completed his youth career with Heerenveen's U21 team in 2023/24. There, he ascended to the main team, playing 18 games and scoring one goal. Last season, he played in 35 matches, scoring one goal and providing two assists. He is expected to become the eighth reinforcement for Arouca for the 2025/26 season with a contract valid for four years, until June 2029.
