Brazilian club Palmeiras is interested in signing Spartak Moscow midfielder Esequiel Barco in the upcoming winter transfer window, according to online publication BolaVIP. The source also reports that the Moscow club is asking for around €17.2 million for the 26-year-old Argentine player. In their pursuit, Palmeiras would face competition from another major Brazilian club, Flamengo, which is also said to retain an interest in the midfielder. Barco's contract with the Russian club is valid until June 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €14 million.
