Palmeiras inquired about attacking midfielder Helinho, who is at Toluca. ESPN reported that the player was considered expensive and that there were no advances.

According to Globo.com, Helinho from Toluca has been linked with Palmeiras following the sale of Allan. His departure for less than R$ 80 million is considered unlikely.

Palmeiras is interested in Helinho, as the club seeks a replacement for Allan, who is set to join Manchester City. The attacker's name was proposed to the Brazilian club, and a source does not clarify whether the proposal came directly from Toluca or from his representatives. Previously, other Brazilian clubs like Gremio, Cruzeiro, and Vasco da Gama had made informal inquiries about the player. Despite Helinho having a contract with Toluca until 2028, the club's management would reportedly be willing to sell him if Palmeiras presents a formal offer that reaches 13 million dollars. The Brazilian transfer window closes on September 11, giving both clubs just over two weeks to finalize any potential agreement.
