Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and Beşiktaş have all allegedly shown interest in signing Borussia Dortmund's 31-year-old German captain and Centre-Back, Emre Can, and are reportedly considering a deal as early as January. However, according to Bild, Can does not want to leave Dortmund and is not contemplating an early departure. His contract is set to expire in the summer. The BVB management, including Lars Ricken and Sebastian Kehl, reportedly views Can as an important leader. Bild states the club intends to offer him a new one-year contract. The German international, who has 48 caps and 2 goals for his country, joined Dortmund in July 2020 and has made one appearance in the Bundesliga this season. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €7.00m.
