Eduard Spertsyan Transfer from Krasnodar to Southampton
Southampton, a club relegated to the Championship last season, made a €12.5 million offer for Eduard Spertsyan, the captain of Krasnodar and a 25-year-old Armenian attacking midfielder. However, Spertsyan declined the offer. Arménie Football reported that Spertsyan had considered the proposal but ultimately refused it, hoping for an offer from Spanish club Girona that did not come to fruition. Previously, Spertsyan had indicated his desire to continue his career in Europe and has attracted interest from clubs such as Ajax and Borussia Dortmund. His contract with Krasnodar is valid until the summer of 2026. Transfermarkt estimates the player's current market value to be €25 million.
