The Guardian reported that FC Porto is contemplating a loan transfer for Mexican midfielder Edson Álvarez, having submitted an official offer for him. Besides Porto, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan have also placed official bids for Álvarez. Meanwhile, West Ham United and Fenerbahce are close to completing a loan agreement, but Álvarez has not made his decision yet, postponing any final deal with Fenerbahce. Porto remains among the clubs expressing interest as Álvarez considers his options. The 27-year-old's contract with West Ham is set to expire in June 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €25.00m.
