Dor Turgeman Transfer from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Burnley
The Daily Record reports on the interest from Burnley and Rangers in signing Dor Turgeman. Burnley, along with Rangers, is keen on signing Dor Turgeman. Rangers scouts watched him score his first goal for Israel, and Maccabi Tel Aviv is looking for around £5 million for Turgeman, who is out of contract at the end of 2026 and unlikely to extend.
Burnley, alongside Rangers, expressed interest in observing Dor Turgeman's performance after compiling extensive information on him over recent months. Reports indicate that clubs from Spain and Germany are also keeping an eye on the forward. Turgeman, who emerged from Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth academy, has netted 17 goals in 35 appearances this season and was instrumental in helping his team clinch the Israeli Premier League title last year. Although Rangers scouts personally evaluated Turgeman during the recent international break, Burnley, a team in the English Championship, were just as keen to assess the 21-year-old forward, who recently achieved his first goal for Israel in a World Cup qualifying match against Norway. Maccabi Tel Aviv expects heightened interest in Turgeman next summer, despite his contract running until 2026, with the club holding an option to extend it for another year.
