Benfica is reportedly prepared to offer 30 million euros for the 27-year-old Belgian winger Dodi Lukébakio, which is three times the amount Sevilla paid to acquire him from Hertha Berlin for 10 million euros. The player is said to be interested in the move as it would enable him to participate in the Champions League. It was previously noted that offers from Napoli and an unnamed Arab club were turned down, with the latter offering as much as 45 million euros. Lukébakio has acknowledged Sevilla's financial issues and is contemplating the move as a means to assist the club. This transfer would represent Sevilla's third major sale this summer, following the transfers of Badé to Bayer Leverkusen and Idumbo to Monaco. While Atlético de Madrid has shown interest, Benfica is reportedly the club most committed to securing the player's services. Lukébakio's contract with Sevilla is due to expire in June 2028, and his market value is currently estimated at €20 million by Transfermarkt.
