Parma Calcio and AC Monza have reportedly submitted bids to Rangers for the 22-year-old Mauritanian international winger, Djeidi Gassama. The Scottish club's board has deemed offers of €7m to be insufficient and expects a higher amount for the player to leave. Gassama joined the club from Sheffield Wednesday last summer for €2.4m and has a contract that runs until 2029. In January, AS Monaco made a loan offer for him, but he stayed with the Glasgow club. Reports from July 2026 suggested that Club Brugge was willing to pay approximately €8 million for the player. He has 3 caps for Mauritania. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €6.00m.
